A LANTERN OF SOFT, PAPER-FILTERED LIGHT FOR A CALMER, SLOWER HOME
Nuvola floats a rice-paper lantern on three slender legs, a wabi-sabi form rooted in Japanese craft. Paper is one of the best diffusers ever made: the light comes through as a warm, even cloud with no glare at all. It softens a reading corner, a bedroom floor-side or a low console and makes modern rooms feel lived-in. For anyone who values calm over spectacle, it is the perfect first ambient light.
WHY THIS LIGHT EARNS ITS PLACE
- Diffuses through a rice-paper shade — for a completely even, glare-free glow.
- Stands on a slender tripod — that lifts the lantern and keeps the base light and airy.
- Powers simply by USB — so it runs from a wall adapter, a laptop or a power bank.
- Brings natural texture into the room — balancing hard surfaces like stone, metal and glass.
